Mandarin Oriental London Production

Calibar had the pleasure of providing the entertainment and production for this beautifully organised birthday party for Max at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London.

We provided an elegant DJ set with a LED video wall backdrop and a Gloss white dance floor with personalised decals.

DJ's Narry and Aran entertained the audience with their upbeat sounds and mixes.

The venue look was completed by our lighting production, beautifully decorated by Zara and catered by Premier Flavour.

Calibar light up Intercontinental Hotel London

Beautiful venues deserve beautiful lighting and the Intercontinental Hotel London is no exception.

Our lighting team created the perfect ambience for this high end wedding reception where the clients wanted a very snazzy look to their reception.

The results are here to see in this gallery with the slick decor by RWS London.

Grosvenor House Hotel Great Room Production

Our Event Production at The Great Room Grosvenor House Hotel London where the clients briefing was to turn the lavish wedding reception into an A-list nightclub theme party and they got exactly what they wanted with over 900 guests partying non stop to a packed dance floor.

We also supplied bespoke bars and back bars, a  beautiful mirror stepped stage for the top table with water troughs and a slick seamless white dance floor with personalised decals.

The reception was hosted by the Aytan family, prominent business owners of the fashion labels Boy London and Criminal damage and was superbly catered by Madhus.

The incredible decor was supplied by Floco and the lavish wedding cake was provided by Creme De La Cakes.

Calibar Provide the Biggest LED Video Wall Ever at an Asian Wedding In the UK!

Calibar recently provided the biggest LED Video wall seen at an Asian wedding.

Calibar were commisioned by DBZ Events Boutique to provide a massive 26 Meter by 4 Meter video wall with customised content for the Fairy Tale Event theme.

The video wall consisting of 416 LED panels was all rigged up and suspended to the venue ceiling rigging points and the results were this incredible backdrop to this lavish wedding reception at The 02 Intercontinental Hotel in London.

The Event was lavishly designed and decorated by DBZ Events Boutique and catered excellently by Madhus.

Novotel Hammersmith Transformation

Calibar were commissioned to transform one of London's most impressive wedding venues The Novotel Hotel Hammersmith into a woodland inspired theme. With our impressive P3 LED video wall screens and extensive range of production lighting all suspended from the ceiling we created the perfect look for our clients vision. The event was further enhanced with our impressive mirror dance floor completing this amazing production.

The DJ's on the night were Anuj Bassi and Sunny Birk who had the party rocking with the fresh mix of Asian and Western beats!

The event was catered by Just Premier and the amazing decor was provided by Blooming Events.

The Brewery London

Working at great venues always extends our pleasure and the spectacular Brewey London is no exception.

Calibar once again had the opportunity to provide our services at the beautiful Ditton Manor.

Calibar Transform the Dallas Burston Polo Club

In 2014 Calibar were commisioned to organise a very special wedding reception by Mr Bal Malhi a high profile business owner from Birmigham who wanted something extravagant and away from the regular venues in Birmingham. The father of the Bride was the well known singer Shin from DCS.

Our team got to work and found the perfect venue for this special event The Dallas Burston Polo Club. The event design team at Calibar along with our suppliers produced one of the most beautiful events we have had the pleasure of working at. 

We provided a classy DJ set with a state of the art P3 LED Video Wall along with a gold mirror dance floor and wedding stage. The whole venue was lit up by our production team with beautiful grand centre pieces for the tables which made this grand venue look like a palace.

DJ Aran provided the perfect sound track to the event along with Drumline, Trav on the sax and Wil on the bongos creating a rave on the dance floor.

The event was catered by the amazing Sanjay Foods and decor provided by Essential Weddings.

The wonderful images were captured by Didar Virdee and Filming was by Make it Reel who will be releasing a showreel very soon.

NEC Metropole Hilton Birmingham Lighting Production

Calibar recently provided the production for a high profile Indian Wedding at the prestigious NEC Metropole Hilton Hotel and transformed the venue into an amazing spectacle.

Our production team took over the whole ceiling across the impressive Monarch suite and using a mixture of LED washers, LED beams, Profiles, Gobo breakers along with Pin spotting created the perfect ambiance for the 900 guests to enjoy this spectacular high profile wedding event. 

The entertainment was provided by Jazzy B and his full live band along with DJ Narry from Calibar.

Stormfield Productions, Gurvir Johal and Sadha Video provided the filming and photography and Madhus were the caterers.

Calibar Rocks India Once Again!

Calibar once again had the pleasure of providing the entertainment at two high profile weddings in Punjab.

Both clients from the UK wanted to celebrate the weddings in Punjab with the same type of music at atmosphere that we generate in the UK and we help organise everything from the venue, entertainment to most of the logistics for the events.

The weddings took place at The Radisson and Country Inn Hotels with the grand reception at the prestigious Heritage in Jalandhar.

Calibar provided state of the art sound and lighting for both these events as well as crytal clear P4 LED video walls. In addition, Calibar is proud to claim they provided further entertainment from the one and only legend, Gurdas Mann, who wooed the crowd at a grand reception party.

DJ Aran and DJ Jatty worked their magic and provided a great mix of music throughout the events.

DJ Nish is one of the most experienced and talented Asian female DJ's in the UK, whose unique musical talent is the perfect addition to any ladies only event. Another great event at the ExCel London

Calibar had the pleasure of providing some great entertainment, stage set and lighting design at a recent high profile wedding event.

The live entertainment was provided by world reknown Jazzy B and his live band with DJ Narry on the decks for Calibar.

Four by Four Bhangra dancers showed their skills on the dance floor and Team Dips provided an expolosive dhol set.

Calibar provided a bespoke stage set for the live band with our new P3 LED video wall in the background for all visual displays and a beautiful polished silver mirror dance floor to create the perfect setting for the event.

The venue was further complimented by our great production and mood lighting with some great centre pieces provided by Essential Wedding Supplies.

Hedsor House beautifully lit up by Calibar

Hedsor House, set in its own magnificent 100-acre historic park, is a private country house wedding venue in Buckinghamshire, just 26 miles from London. Voted by Brides Magazine as one of the top wedding venues in the UK and as the number 1 wedding venue in Buckinghamshire, Hedsor was formerly a Royal Residence of Augusta the Princess of Wales.

Calibar were commissioned to create a vintage lighting theme and inside and outside this beautiful venue. Using a mixture of colour washers, profiles and gobo lights as well as pin spotting all the tables we created an ideal ambience in the dinning area.

The Terrace suite was where the entertainment was taking place so we installed LED beams, wireless up lighters and moving head colour washers all around the room including the gallery to create a colourful, classy and vibrant atmosphere. A black LED lit dance floor was installed for the guests to dance the night away to the beats of DJ Demitri and Navin Kundra.

Calibar Transforms Epsom Race Course into a magical wedding marquee

Calibar were recently commissioned to transform the massive Oak Room at the World famous and home of the legendary Derby, Royal Epsom Race Course in Surrey.

Our Bride and Groom wanted a marquee feel at the famous race course but at the same time avoid any implications that the weather could have on their big day.

Our team provided floor to celing draping and then constructed a magical star lit roofing section to give the venue the perfect big occasion marquee feel.

Once the draping and carpet was installed it was then time to light up the huge room with a 40 meter lighting structure full of production lighting.

The results were incredible and our lovely Bride and Groom Kalpsh and Zankhna were over the moon the results.

Calibar's DJ Gurps Head's Back to The USA...

Calibar are pleased to announce that we will be performing in New Jersey on Saturday 22nd March 2014 at the Official Afterparty for Worlds Best Bhangra Crew..

WBBC was 1st launched in April 2013 and DJ Gurps was one of the artists booked to perform for what is fast becoming the East Coasts Main Bhangra Dance Event, so its been a great honour for Gurps to be called back to Headline & Perform again at this years Afterparty. WBBC features 10 teams from around North America & The UK to face each other in series of "Dance-Offs" where they will be competing for votes, the team with the highest votes will be crowned "Worlds Best Bhangra Crew"

With Performances by New York's DJ Raj Minocha, Singing Sensation Amar Sandhu, Mickey Singh, Sandeep Singh & Hosted by MC JD, The organisers are certainly going all out to top last years show.

WBBC will be held at the Union County Performing Arts Centre in New Jersey on Saturday 22nd March from 4.30pm Onwards with the Official Afterparty to follow. Tickets are NOW AVAILABLE via Ticketmaster.

Bupa Annual Summer Celebrations

On Friday 6th September 2013 Calibar was honoured to be a part of the Bupa Annual Celebrations. The event was held at the Corn Exchange Brighton and was attended by over 450 members of staff. This year’s celebration was a multicultural themed event hosted by Dj Jatty who kept the dance floor packed throughout the evening, playing a mixture of music ranging from the 60’s – 80’s, right up to current chart hits! Also performing dance routines on the night were Brazilian Dancers and entertainment by the Bollywood Vibes Dance group.

Asian Football Awards 2013

Calibar are proud to be part of the 2013 Asian Football Awards being held at the prestigious Wembley Stadium on 8th October 2013.

We will be hosting the reception and the after party for the event.

The inaugural event in 2012 attracted over 300 representatives from grass roots clubs and businesses in the football arena to a number of current and former players and personnel – not just from the UK but around the world.

With support and representation from the likes of The FA, PFA, Kick It Out, Show Racism The Red Card and Sporting Equals the first event proved to be a huge success which was recognised by football organisations and clubs around the UK. The event hosted esteemed guests from the football establishment like David Bernstein (FA Chairman), ex Chelsea defenders Paul Elliot and Graham Le Saux, BBC Sport presenter Manish Bhasin and award-winning journalist and author Mihir Bose.

“The Asian Football Awards have been created to recognise and reward Asians in football in the UK. We aim to provide a platform for Asians to promote their skills whilst also showing the footballing world that coaches, volunteers, players, administrators and fans are Asians who simply love the game,” explains founder of the AFA Baljit Rihal.

This year, Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth and BBC Asian Network’s DJ Noreen Khan will co-host the awards show which will be held again at the iconic Wembley Stadium. For 2013, The Asian Football Awards have attracted a higher profile of sponsors with a greater input and support from many of the UKs top clubs and football organisations.

This year, their headline sponsor GOALS Soccer Centres will be hosting ‘The AFA Trophy’ tournament nationwide with a number of other new awards to be introduced as the profile of Asians in Football continues to rise.

“Our aim is to see a steady stream of Asian footballers making their debuts at league clubs across the UK…it’s only a matter of time before this is a reality as there are so many talented players on the peripherals of making it,” explains founder of the AFA Baljit Rihal.

The AFA 2013 ceremony will be a star-studded event once again with dignitaries from the world of football as well as a number of prominent celebrities and footballers. With an anticipated audience of over 500 attending, The Asian Football Awards 2013 promises to be a fantastic opportunity to witness inspirational Asians in Football, first hand.

The MAD Ball

The MAD Foundation (Make A Difference) has been set up to raise awareness and funds for good causes. The idea came about when one of our team was diagnosed with cancer. Since then we have met amazing people working within the overall field of cancer treatment and care. This inspired us to get involved in these causes as well as encourage others to contribute.

With your support we are convinced we WILL collectively Make A Difference.

Our first event is The MAD Ball being organised in support of Cancer Care. This event will promote two special charities that provide exceptional support to cancer patients and their families - Macmillan Cancer Support and Children with Cancer UK.

They have also received the prestigious Bulldog Scolarship at Trinity College of Music.
